This role requires strong expertise in local taxation (VAT, corporate tax), ERP systems, and Excel , along with the ability to perform analytical and business reporting .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial transactions, book-keeping, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing processes .
  • Ensure compliance with local taxation laws (VAT, corporate tax) and be responsible for tax filings.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and business performance reports .
  • Manage cost accounting and inventory valuation in line with manufacturing standards.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting by leveraging ERP systems and Excel for data analysis.
  • Support internal and external audits , ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve financial efficiency and decision-making .
  • Should be open to any additional tasks given by the top management.

Requirements:

  • BCom or equivalent qualification ; CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry .
  • Strong knowledge of local taxation laws (VAT, corporate tax).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills .
  • Strong analytical and business reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
