JobOverview

AtkinsRalis is currentlylooking for highly experienced professional involved in themaintenance of assets. Candidate should have worked in a similarrole as a Maintenance Engineer with proven track record of workingin critical government infrastructure projects preferably intransportation projects.  Prior experience working under aProject Management Consultant (PMC) setup to oversee the works ofthe Design & Build (D&B) contractors will be aclear plus as this is the current setup where the staff will work.This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a majormetro rail project ensuring the effective management of the assets.If you have the required experience and skills we encourage you toapply and be part of our dynamicteam.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewand approve maintenance plans and schedules submitted by theD&B contractor to ensure they meet project requirements andstandards.
  • Conduct regular inspections andassessments of the contractors maintenance activities to ensure thereliability and safety of the metro railsystems.
  • Coordinate with the D&Bcontractor to integrate maintenance considerations into the projectdesign and construction phases.
  • Monitor thecontractors adherence to maintenance policies procedures andprotocols.
  • Analyze maintenance data provided bythe contractor to identify trends and areas forimprovement.
  • Support the Project Director withinsights and challenges related to the maintenance regimeconsiderations by the D&Bcontractors.
  • Prepare and present reports from amaintenance perspective as part of the regular reporting mechanismto project stakeholders and senior management and theclient.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevantmaintenance regulations and standards.
  • Providetraining and support to project staff on maintenance best practicesandprocedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in engineering or equivalent with experience in AssetMaintenance

KnowledgeandExperience

  • Minimumof 1012 years of experience in physical security engineeringpreferably in rail /metro or strategic government assetsprojects.
  • Proven experience in managingmaintenance for largescale constructionprojects.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenancesystems technologies and bestpractices.
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills.
  • Ability to workeffectively in a fastpaced dynamicenvironment.
  • UAE project experience is highlydesirable.
  • Ability to join quickly ispreferred.
