Job Purpose To lead the detailed engineering, design, assembly and testing team of various Safety Instrumented Systems as per the project specification requirements. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Lead the Safety System Engineering Team in a project. Review project technical requirements, specifications and standards. Prepare and review work procedures and hardware/product specifications. Report to the Project Manager on day‑to‑day activities. Perform and review the detailed engineering, design, assembly and testing of the system as per the project specification requirements. Prepare and review Bill of Material for various safety systems. Coordinate with Customer Engineers for technical issues. Prepare and review Purchase Order for various project materials. Assist the Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer as and when required for technical issues. Prepare Safety Validation Plan for safety projects. Coordinate with Document Controller for control of project documentation and QC Engineer for inspection and testing related activities. Arrange internal meeting/project walk‑through for achieving project milestones. Monitor and control project progress. Participate in site acceptance test, commissioning and start‑up activities. Adhere to the project schedule & project quality plan. Prepare scope of work deviations and tracking. Qualification And Experience A degree in Engineering field, preferably in Instrumentation, Electronics or Electrical. Minimum 8 years’ experience in the field of Instrumentation and Control and Safety Systems. Experience in Yokogawa ProSafe-RS system is preferable. Safety Training “B” certificates. TUV Functional Safety Engineer certification (preferable). Competencies Team player. Project design engineering analysis and techniques. Strong leadership quality. Skills Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft applications. Project report writing skills. Project Design Engineering Packages and related software.
