Qualifications:

EducationalBackground: Engineering or equivalentbachelors  Degree  7 Years of Corepetroleum inspection experience. Must have minimum 3 Years ofworking experience in Ruwais refinery and jetty handling ofpetroleum and Crude / LPG / LNG / Urea / SulphurEtc...

Requirements:

  1. Certification:  Preferred to have valid IFIA Petroleum Inspector Certification 
  2. CommunicationSkills: Exceptional interpersonal and communicationskills with the ability to effectively communicate information andrespond to queries both within and outside theorganization.
  3. MathAptitude: Proficiency in basic mathematics includingthe ability to interpolate calculations for trim list and VCFcalculations. Must be capable of interpreting ship calibrationtables in both Imperial and Metricsystems.
  4. LanguageProficiency: Fluent in English with excellentcommunication skills.
  5. PhysicalRequirements:
    • Physically fit towork in confined spaces if needed aftertraining.
    • Physically fit and able to climbstorage tank ladders and stairs typically 25 to 35 meters inheight.
    • Physically fit and able to climb vesselgangways stairs pilot ladder etc.
    • Capable ofcarrying up to 67 kg of samples gear orequipment.
    • Capable to work in adverse weatherconditions such as rain heat cold etc.
    • Must beable to differentiate between colors accurately bysight.
    • Must NOT be colorblind.
    • Ready to shave (clean shave face) as theworking site requires using a face mask for safetypurposes.
  6. SafetyCompliance: Willingness to adhere to safetyrequirements including the use of safety equipment like SCBA andrespirators ifnecessary.
  7. Flexibility: Flexible schedule to accommodate extended hours evening weekend andholiday work based on SGS and customerneeds.
  8. Licenses andTraining: Maintaining all required licenses passessite and terminal trainings in an active status without suspensionor revocation throughoutemployment.
  9. Work underPressure: Ability to work effectively under pressurewhile managing multiple projects with varyingdeadlines.
  10. Independence: Demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimalsupervision exercising discretion and independent judgment whennecessary.
  11. AnalyticalSkills: Excellent analytical skills capable ofmaking sound suggestions or recommendations in thefield.
  12. Health andFitness: Meets minimum health requirements for fieldinspections and tasks including climbing shore tanks andembarking/disembarkingvessels.
  13. MedicalConditions: Free from high blood sugar high bloodpressure high cholesterol hearing impairments severe back painsignificant leg defects and colorblindness.
  14. OtherRequirements: No phobias related to water heights ortolerable smells of working commodities. Must be willing to travelby boat helicopter or GA aircraft asneeded.
