Responsibilities AndAccountabilities:

  • Directly supervise mechanicalmaintenance teams to ensure all job tasks are performed in a timelymanner and with quality to achieve operational readiness and tooperate with the highest level of safety andreliability.
  • Oversee the implementation ofplanned and corrective maintenance activities and surveillances inaccordance with the relevant procedures and processes on plantsystems, structures and components to ensure appropriatefunctioning. This includes, amongst others:
  • TheNuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) mechanical equipment,specifically reactor, steam generators, fuel handling facilities,Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), heat exchangers,pumps, Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG), Alternating AlternateCurrent (AAC) Diesel Generator (DG), cranes & hoists,valves, chillers, hangers & supports,etc.
  • The Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment,including pumps, valves, intake, radwaste equipment, chillers,compressors, engines, etc.
  • Ensure proper andtimely preparation and staging of maintenance work activities whichincludes the submission of procurement requests on the system forequipment spare parts and special tools to ensure mechanicalmaintenance activities are properlyresourced.
  • Conduct pre- and post-job briefingsand oversee maintenance teams performing tasks to ensure alignmentwith the maintenance standards and procedures inNawah.
  • Validate the document equipment historyreports, following maintenance on systems, structures andcomponents
  • Oversee periodic and surveillancetests conducted to confirm efficient plant mechanical systemperformance or identify deficiencies.
  • Providetechnical support for other station groups to diffuse technicalknowledge throughout the organization.
  • Verifythe Update of the equipment and material master data within thematerial management system to ensure accuracy of equipment andmaterial specifications in the plant with those in thewarehouse.
  • Execute the troubleshooting processon the mechanical systems and components to ensure issues areresolved correctly and in a timelymanner.
  • Perform all job duties and functions incompliance with Maintenance Code of Conduct procedures, guidelinesexpectations to ensure the safety and reliability of theplants
  • Take out Clearances under the necessarymaintenance work performed.
  • Support allnecessary testing of systems (i.e. cold hydro test, hot functionaltest, power ascension test and performance test, as well as designchange testing procedures) to ensure compliance with regulatory andindustrial requirements.
  • Implement designedOperating Experience, training, observation learnings intoprocedures and programs as needed to improve theirusefulness.
