The Bartender prepares and serves a variety of beverages, interacts with customers, and ensures the cleanliness and efficiency of the bar area.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences and the available menu.
- Create visually appealing and well-presented drinks, paying attention to detail and garnishing as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning utensils, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking and processing payment for drinks.
- Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations, ensuring responsible and safe service to customers.
- Stay updated on current beverage trends, new ingredients, and mixology techniques to continuously enhance drink offerings.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
- Follow proper cash handling procedures and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
- Excellent knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple drink orders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including their ingredients and proper serving techniques.
- Familiarity with bar equipment, tools, and sanitation standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations related to beverage service.
