MainResponsibilities

  • Conduct design reviews and providetechnical guidance to the team
  • Ensure thedesign aligns with client requirements, and is in compliance withcurrent UAE legislation, industry standards and specificationswhere appropriate
  • Manage all aspects of theasset or infrastructure design production process to ensure theoverall design is aligned to and directly supports the achievementof program's strategicobjectives
  • Participate in establishingpractices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to managethe design and its approval, across the projectstakeholders
  • Assist the Senior Design Managerin the preparation of a detailed project plan, as part of theProject Management Plan, for the asset or infrastructure designphases of the program
  • Manage the day-to-dayarchitectural design monitoring activities and resources andactively participate in the design teammeetings
  • Ensure that all asset or architecturaldesign related project KPIs, targets, directions and instructionsare communicated to all relevant project stakeholders in a clearand timely manner
  • Coordination between alldisciplines (Architectural, Structural, andMEP)
  • Provide status reporting regardingarchitectural design milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risksand issues, communicating acrossleadership
  • Participate and/or drive feasibilitystudies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation byappropriate key stakeholders
  • Act as an internalquality control check for the architectural designdocumentation
  • Ensure that designs areproceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and qualitystandards
  • Manage design issues and risks tomitigate impact to baseline program
  • Extensiveunderstanding of project and program management principles, methodsand techniques
Desired candidate profile
  • BSc, Engineering, Architecture orequivalent
  • Design of building projects (villasand community facilities) within a Consulting environment in AbuDhabi
  • Minimum of 10 years overallexperience
  • Minimum of 5 years'experience in a similar role
  • Minimum of 5 yearsworking in Middle East
  • Proficiency in UrbanDesign and Master Planning best practices and latesttrends
  • Excellent report writing andcommunication skills
  • Extensive experience inproject management
  • Structured approach toproblem solving
