The responsibilities will encompass strategic activities, including formulating strategies, analyzing and assessing business opportunities, and overseeing the planning and execution processes, and monitoring of ROI of every initiative. This role will be reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, your primary focus will be on ensuring that actions taken are aligned with the vision of the Retail Banking and Wealth Management Unit and the broader group's agenda.

Scope of Work:
  • Shape the Future: Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge digital strategies to drive the bank's success.
  • Global Impact: Advise on strategic group business opportunities across Retail, SME, Wealth Management, and Private Banking.
  • Thought Partner: Collaborate with senior leadership to address key strategic issues and drive innovation.
  • New Horizons: Identify, develop, and evaluate new opportunities aligned with our business objectives.
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of the curve with market intelligence and benchmarking.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop and share your expertise, contributing to our organization's strategic growth.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Support strategic planning efforts across the group.
Ideal Profile:
  • A Master's in Business Administration or a Master's degree from a top-ranked university is preferred.
  • A solid 8+ years in strategy consulting is a must, with at least 5-7 years of experience in banking, e-commerce, retail, wealth management, and business building.
  • The ideal candidate is a Principal or Junior/Associate Partner from a renowned management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, etc.) who wants to transition to an in-house strategy role.
  • Specific experience in Retail Banking and Wealth Management is highly valued, and prior experience in the GCC region is a plus.
  • Willingness to relocate to the UAE is a must, as you'll be at the heart of our dynamic operations in the Middle East.
