Introduction As a Market Manager for Alternate Accommodation you will be based in the UAE and lead our efforts to grow this key portfolio across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. In this Role, you’ll get to: Create business strategy to achieve growth targets and expand the inventory coverage for the Alternative Accommodation portfolio (non-standard hotels) in the MEA region. Develop a strong understanding of the market landscape to identify challenges and opportunities through data analysis, market analysis, and market research. Collaborate with external stakeholders, property management companies, and travel partners to grow the assigned area, including organizing destination workshops and participating in relevant exhibitions. Maintain and enhance existing partnerships by monitoring performance, providing ongoing support, and driving revenue growth across your portfolio. Leverage your knowledge of technical integrations with software and channel manager partners. Take a customer‑centric approach to ensure hotel content, rates, availability, and product offerings meet company objectives and provide the best value to Trip.com customers. Work closely with other regions, the operations team, and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, outlining performance, challenges, and proposed solutions. Support additional tasks and projects as required based on business needs. What you’ll Need to Succeed: Fluency in English and a very proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership. A team‑player mindset with a driven “get it done” attitude. Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. A creative and innovative approach, with the ability to drive and manage change. A minimum of three years’ experience in sales, business development, or revenue/yield management within the online travel, hospitality, or e‑commerce industry.
