About this role

PANGAIA is searching for someone who can support the Sales team in the B2B business unit of the team called Powered by PANGAIA, reporting into our Head of B2B.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn in an inspiring environment and looking for a 360-degree immersion into a dynamic, fast-growing start-up.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operational sales activities (client meetings, samples management, account management). This is a role focused on developing relationships - both internally and externally - as well as establishing processes. You will need to be proactive, reactive to customer requests, incredibly organized, and able to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

The role will also require delivering the highest quality service by managing inbound client requests, following up on client meetings, managing samples, interfacing with internal colleagues (Product, Fulfilment, Finance), and being an ambassador of PANGAIA Science. Strong organisational leadership, with a sense of ownership, is key. This role is highly operational and attention to detail, as well as problem-solving is inherent to the role.

A day in the life

  • Pro-actively participate in achieving Sales targets
  • Help manage customer relationships, prepare, and attend client meetings
  • Support in managing the accounts, from legal to briefing product development all the way to liaising with fulfilment and finance on shipping and raising invoices
  • Keep impeccable records to track the sales pipeline, processes and ensure clear communication flows to all team members
  • Create relevant sales dashboards, update PANGAIA Science Webpage
  • Research into emerging markets / competitors, as well as new innovations / products
  • Build key relationships with clients, partners and PANGAIA internal departments

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Passion for Sustainability / Innovation / Design / Fashion. Experience working with innovative materials, in fashion, or in sustainability a plus
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work with autonomy
  • Excellent written and oral presentation / communication skills, confident numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Photoshop / Illustrator / Mailchimp / Power BI a plus
  • Motivated, hard-working and are comfortable working on several accounts at a time
  • Strong attention to detail and is able to execute tasks to agreed objectives / deadlines
  • A team player with excellent cross-cultural communication & interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of Italian / Portuguese / French a plus
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
