The rolerequires to support Managing Directors and Executive Directors inidentifying and developing business opportunities preparingpresentations and maintaining contact with client at junior tomidsenior level; improve service quality levels and supervisedaytoday activities and deal flow by giving strong support focus torelationship management; ensure that the teams objectives areconstantly met and its revenue targets achieved while maintainingclient satisfaction and portfolio credit quality; anticipatepotential problems; manage and lead junior teammembers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

StrategicContribution:

  • Participate in thefinancial analysis conducted on clients and their respectiveindustries/markets to identify potential opportunities andrisks.
  • Work with respective Executive Directorsto develop the teams strategy and business plan with the aim ofincreasing the Banks share of the target clients wallet andachieving target relationship returns.
  • Keepclose interaction with Product teams and other stakeholders tomaximize business opportunities with clients and to streamlineexecution of deals andstrategies.

PeopleManagement:

  • Contributeto talent development initiatives for the assigned departmentcollaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensurethe availability of talent to fit businessrequirements.
  • Act as a role model and driveadherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of theassigned department to foster a value driven culture within theGroup.

Budgeting andFinancialPlanning:

  • ManageP&L responsibility of the assigned portfolio achievingtargets within defined budget levels.

PoliciesSystems Processes &Procedures:

  • Manage andensure effective implementation of the CIB functional policiesprocedures and controls covering all areas of assigned departmentactivity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirementsfulfilled while delivering a quality costeffectiveservice.

Client andMarketAnalysis:

  • Participatein the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respectiveindustries/markets to identify potential opportunities andrisks.

ClientRelationshipManagement:

  • Assist inoriginating new business opportunities with target clients acrossbanking products
  • Develop and execute Term SheetInformation Memorandum financial modelling mandate letteretc.
  • Examine & resolve credit marketand operational risk aspects of the transactions in collaborationwith products and enablement units.
  • Assist inpitching reviewing negotiating and concludingdeals.
  • Motivate Develop and Coach junior teammembers.
  • Maintain the credit quality of theclients relationships within the Portfolio to an acceptable levelset by the Banks management
  • Achieve individualand team financial performancetargets.
  • Identify & develop crossselling opportunities and increase the crosssell ratio with keyclients.
  • Ensure Account Plans are prepared andmaintained for all key clients.
  • Ensure allclients files /documents are maintained.
  • Ensureall credit reviews are submitted on time and agreed conditions aremet.
  • Maintain a satisfactory audit on theportfolio
  • Learning & Development Attendappropriate on and offthejob training programs and ensuredevelopment and skill upgradation of teammembers.
  • Ensure that all internal processes forexisting portfolio and NTBs are met in line with the Banks policies& procedures.
  • Adhere to process KPIsand ORM BCP & Internal Auditrequirements

DaytoDayActivities:

  • Assist therespective Managing Directors and Executive Directors in thedaytoday administrative and transactional activities to ensurecontinuity of work and the delivery of effective and highqualityoutputs.
  • Manage and follow up on KYC andcompliance requirements in order to ensure consistency with theBanks KYC and AML policies and regulatoryrequirements.

PoliciesSystems Processes andProcedures:

  • Follow allrelevant policies processes standard operating procedures andinstructions so that work is carried out in a controlled andconsistent manner.

MISand Reports:

Review and analyzefinancial statements MIS and reports to keep track of performancevs. budgets.

Functions within the framework andboundaries of Group policies as well as overall organizational andgovernanceframeworks.
