Overview :

The Financial Controllers role encompassesoverseeing financial performance through reporting and analysisadvising the procurement team on purchasing costs collaboratingwith the sales team to maintain margins aligned with business plansmanaging warehouse inventory ensuring comprehensive statutorycompliance conducting regular reviews with the Operations teamaddressing variances vis vis the budget with corrective actions andensuring adherence to financial statutory requirements and auditprocesses.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Timely preparation ofmonthly management accounts as per Group requirement Daily weeklymonthly quarterly and yearly.
  • Closure of booksof accounts reconciliation of bank debtor creditor andstock.
  • Preparation of Yearlybudget.
  • Receivable and payablemanagement.
  • Fund management and preparation ofcashflow.
  • Currency management.
  • Control over cost against budget.
  • Liaison with company auditor to finalize yearly statutoryaccounts annual returns and other allied work.
  • Entire Gamut of Treasury Function viz credit facilities
  • Cost analysis and reconciliation of Costaccounts with Financial Accounts.
  • Timelypreparation of daily monthly and quarterly MIS.
  • Analysis of Financial Information and highlight theunusual variations/ trends.
  • Keep a close eyeon credit control function.
  • Analyse costspricing variable contributions sales results and the companysactual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Correspond with various other departments discussingcompany plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
  • Accept responsibility for resolving a problem to itsconclusion.
  • Assist in the achievement and theongoing improvement of business results.
  • Showdissatisfaction with poor performance and driving processes toachieve business goals.

Education Experience andskills

Education : Chartered accountant(CA)

Experience : 810 years of experiencein all. UAE experience is mandatory candidates from the agricommodity industry will be preferred.

  • Prepare effectivepresentations and where required concisely present/communicate acomplete and accurate picture of the current situation or of thecompanys products and services.
