Job Description:

  1. Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  2. Maintain control on costs, quality and timelines.
  3. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  4. Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  5. Develop full-scale project plans.
  6. Assemble and coordinate project staff.
  7. Manage project budget, resource allocation, schedules, and quality assurance.
  8. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  9. Provide direction and support to the project team and monitor/report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.

Project/Site Related Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for raising inspections at the site like WIR (Work Inspection Report) and MIR (Material Inspection Report) and getting it approved from the Consultant.
  2. Maintain site E.H.S. procedures and policies.
  3. Ensure accurate setting out of works in accordance with contract drawings or approved shop drawings.
  4. Organize operations with Engineers and Supervisors.
  5. Liaise with General Foreman and Junior Engineer regarding field problems, technical matters, and site safety.
  6. Initiate Technical queries and manage Verbal Instructions.
  7. Ensure preparation of Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plan, as the work schedule requires, and ensure matters of site safety are prioritized.
  8. Provide technical assistance and technical supervision.
  9. Measure and report on progress.
  10. Monitor the work and report any occurrences that might create a delay or variation in the specified work.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Liaison with client site staff.
  2. Oversee the material testing activities.
  3. Manage site interfaces.
  4. Prepare as-built information to suit contract requirements.
  5. Ensure supervisors implement Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plan as the work progresses.
  6. Ensure works are in accordance with QC procedures/ITPs to resolve defects revealed.
  7. Provide regular reporting to Senior Management regarding all aspects of the project.
  8. Advise on project quality assurance and quality control aspects and interface problems affecting the disciplined operation of the project.
  9. Conduct site surveys and troubleshooting, handling queries from Production departments.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the project and common objectives.
  11. Coordinate with the Production team to ensure that material is prepared and delivered to the site as per priority.
  12. Regularly update the Production team on Site Schedule & Activities through email, WhatsApp, and other forms of communication.
  13. Act as a liaison between Site and Project Team.
  14. Conduct daily meetings with Main Contractor Project Managers and team to update on project progress and inquire about any urgent work or execution required.
  15. Handle Consultants and seek MIR/WIR in time to ensure all Payment certificates are prepared with full works approval.
  16. Daily email project reports to management and keep them updated on site progress, issues, and requirements.
  17. Handle multiple projects as required by management.
