  • Enforce and monitor thatall operational standards, as per our policies, SOP and qualitymeasures are in place at all times.
  • Alwayssupervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurants andcarry out monthly or more frequent walk-throughs with therespective engineering and housekeeping colleagues and follow upaccordingly on the produced reports to achieve an immaculateenvironment.
  • Work closely with the respectiveChef de Cuisine to plan menus, prices and promotional events forthe Beverages in order to maximize revenue generating opportunitiesin line with market demands.
  • Constantlyidentify areas for improvement in service and food and beveragequality by reviewing various service quality audit reports, guestcomment cards and guest incident reports, and formulate actionplans accordingly, also in cooperation with the rspective Chef decuisine and Outlet Managers.
  • Observe allaspects of the business forecasts and plan effectively to make mostefficient arrangements for manpower, equipment and suppliesaccordingly.
  • Ensure accuracy of all beveragemenus: current, spelled correctly, clean and presentable andascertain menu descriptions are up to date and distributedappropriately.
  • Schedule alcohol servicetraining for employees in ever function.
  • Planand Prepare Beverage orders /inventory for entire day forhotel.
  • Manage alcohol beverage stock across alloutlets.
  • Schedule, train and evaluate beverageemployee appearance and guest service follows servicestandards.
  • Ensure smooth functioning ofbeverage department every day.
  • Improve andmaintain beverage sales andprofitability.
  • Maintain compliance withbeverage staff and cost budgets.
  • Control barprocesses including par levels, finances and beverage menuselection.
  • Plan and execute special promotionalactivities for the outlet and plan for festive season eventsrelated to the outlet.
  • Attend and participatein all required meetings as scheduled.
  • TheBeverage Manager must be fully conversant with the local laws andcustoms regarding the serving of alcohol and in particular thevariations regarding the license under which his/her Restaurantoperates.
  • Must also ensure that all staff underhis/ her leadership are aware of these laws and licenserequirements and practice responsible service ofalcohol.

Aboutyou:

The ideal candidate forthis position will have the following experience andqualifications:

  • Minimum 2experience at Beverage Manager level (orequivalent).
  • At least 2 years in a similarleadership role.
  • Ideally experience within aluxury 5-star environment isdesirable.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solvingskills
  • A strong understanding of financials isessential as well as the ability to operate within the policies,procedures, and systems.
