Key Responsibilities:

  • Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance parameters.
  • Liaise with Senior Manager Procurement & Contracts team for material procurement and contract conclusions.
  • Qualify/certify Mechanical Workshops for the capability to provide qualitative spare parts.
  • Establish contracts with Workshops for fast response and parts provision.
  • Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs for utility systems and equipment.
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports.
  • Liaise with management to identify new/upgraded facilities needed.
  • Set up and maintain contracts with MEP/utility suppliers.
  • Develop systems and processes for continuous maintenance of required services.
  • Advise on energy efficiency and effective use of space.
  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance services and repairs.
  • Conduct site visits for inspections and monitor project progress.
  • Build maintenance procedures and manuals.
  • Perform other tasks as allocated by reporting Manager.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze maintenance data based on OEM Manuals.
  • Coordinate with production team leaders and regulatory authorities.
  • Participate in Product Definition Reviews and technical meetings.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for Maintenance Engineering activities.
  • Identify high maintenance cost drivers and propose solutions.
  • Conduct maintenance budgeting and costing.
  • Prepare and analyze maintenance history.
  • Monitor and analyze preventive maintenance plans.
  • Maintain equipment reliability and operating profit through efficient planned maintenance.

Experience and Education:

  • University degree or diploma in electro-mechanical/civil engineering.
  • More than 5 years' experience in maintenance activities.
  • High level of technical and scientific knowledge applicable to practical problems.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification concepts.
  • Knowledge of First Aid & CPR.
  • Understanding of workplace safety and lifting procedures.
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning and administration.
  • Understanding of heating, boilers, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with building and grounds maintenance and equipment repair.
  • Knowledge of local, national, and international codes and regulations.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Extensive experience in maintenance planning and related quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions in different forms.
  • Ability to perform duties in varying conditions, including extreme heat and humidity.
  • Understanding of Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) is an advantage.
  • Working location is an indoor & outdoor office environment in a high-risk area.
  • Regular visits to various plants to liaise with department heads on Equipment Maintenance activities.
