In UAE, Siemens Mobility is delivering the signaling, telecom, and power supply systems for the 303 km Abu Dhabi‑Sohar railway, which marks the first cross‑country railway network in the Middle East, connecting the UAE and Oman. We are recruiting for a Site Quality Engineer to join our team in UAE . This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor on‑site QA/QC activities, ensuring execution is aligned with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant codes and standards. Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including ITPs, checklists, inspection records, and support the creation of method statements for installation activities. Perform material inspections for signaling and asset protection equipment, review installation documentation and test results, and ensure compliance through regular audits and daily site visits. Oversee the handover process through Inspection Test Reports (ITRs), covering material inspections, installation works, and testing & commissioning sign‑off. Drive quality improvement through root cause analysis, statistical reporting of NCRs, KPIs, CARs, and contribute to monthly monitoring of project quality KPIs. Support quality training as per the approved plan, promote continuous improvement, and evaluate contractors site performance to provide feedback to Procurement and Quality Management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering. Internal Audit / Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001:2015. 5-8 years of experience in railway signaling projects with solid knowledge of signaling systems, railway safety, and quality standards. Hands‑on experience with QA/QC techniques including root cause analysis, quality audits, and preferably Six Sigma. Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently across multiple project sites. Proficiency in relevant digital tools. Full‑time on‑site availability in Al Ain, UAE, with flexibility for project travel as needed. Valid UAE or GCC driving license.
