Responsibilities

  • Providemarine engineering solutions that are safe and sustainable, costeffective, fit for purpose, commercially satisfying and innovativeensuring to be aligned with the Group's governance andstrategic goals.
  • Analyze data and preparetechnical reports and documents for both internal and externalstakeholders.
  • Develop the technicalrequirements for ports and maritime engineering studies,construction and performance specifications, design standards andother technical documents as required.
  • Developinitial preconceptual engineering schemes for potential futureprojects.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborativerelationship between project teams, supply chain and otherstakeholders for the betterment of the AD Portsgroup.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Marine Engineering or a related field. Master'sdegree is a plus

  • A minimum of 6-8 years ofexperience in a similar role
  • Experience inmarine engineering especially within a port, maritime orinfrastructure environment.
  • Preferably workedin both construction and consultancyorganisations.
  • Strong problem solving andcritical thinking skills to identify and address complex challengesand opportunities and make data-drivendecisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and theability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levelsof the organization.
