About the Role:
At Wio Securities, we are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to building cutting-edge solutions for our banking platform. As part of a dynamic, fast-growing fintech company, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture and backend infrastructure of our products.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced backend engineer who has worked closely in a brokerage platforms - crypto houses , or wealth management organizations . You'll work on designing, building, and scaling services that handle high-volume transactions, data processing, and real-time financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Backend Architecture & Design : Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems for key banking features, including brokerage and investment services, digital assets, and wealth management platforms.
  2. Microservices & APIs : Design and implement microservices and APIs to support core business functionalities in brokerage, trading systems , and digital asset management .
  3. Integration with Third-Party Systems : Work closely with third-party providers to integrate brokerage platforms, payment gateways, crypto exchange APIs, and other fintech services.
  4. Data Processing & Transaction Management : Develop systems for real-time financial transaction processing, ensuring that data accuracy, reliability, and security are maintained.
  5. Performance Optimization : Optimize backend systems for high availability, low latency, and scalability.
  6. Security & Compliance : Focus on implementing security best practices in backend systems.
  7. Automation & Continuous Improvement : Contribute to automating operational tasks and streamlining workflows.
  8. Mentorship & Leadership : Provide mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow technically.
  9. Collaborative Development : Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into backend solutions.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications :
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience :
  • At least 5 years of experience in backend software development, with significant experience in a brokerage, crypto, or wealth management organization.
  • Hands-on experience in building and scaling high-volume transaction systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., KYC, AML).
Technical Skills :
  • Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, Python, Go, or
  • Solid understanding of databases, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience in real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong experience with cloud services and containerization tools.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies and crypto integrations is a plus.
Security & Compliance Awareness :
  • Deep understanding of security protocols and best practices.
  • Experience working with financial industry regulations.
Problem-Solving & Scalability :
  • Strong problem-solving skills focused on optimizing for scalability and performance.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
Collaboration & Communication :
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, frontend, operations, and compliance teams.
