Role Description

• Supervise daily PMV activities including heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery operations.
• Monitor equipment utilization and coordinate allocation to project sites.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are followed.
• Coordinate breakdown repairs with workshop and maintenance teams.
• Maintain records for fuel consumption, equipment hours, servicing, and inspections.
• Monitor operator performance and ensure valid certifications/licenses.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and UAE construction safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement departments.
• Track equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Prepare PMV reports including utilization, maintenance status, and cost analysis.
• Ensure proper documentation for inspections, insurance, and registrations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or T echnical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , Transport Management, or Automotive Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction/contracting companies
• Proven experience managing large fleets of construction equipment in the UAE/GCC
• Strong knowledge of heavy machinery (cranes, excavators, loaders, etc.)
• Experience in cost control, budgeting, and lifecycle management of assets
• Familiarity with ERP systems and fleet management software
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
