An exciting opportunity hasarisen for a Senior Director of Brand Design & Architectureto join our Architecture & Spatial Design team in Dubai.The job purpose of a Senior Director of Brand Design &Architecture is shaping and maintaining the visual and experientialidentity of the hotel brand, ensuring it aligns with thecompany's high standards of luxury and excellence. Thisrole involves overseeing the design and architectural elements ofnew and existing properties, ensuring they consistently reflect thebrand's aesthetic and quality. Additionally, the SeniorDirector collaborates with various stakeholders to implementinnovative design strategies that enhance guest experience anddrive brand loyalty.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive andcompelling brand identity across all properties, ensuringconsistency in design, aesthetics, and overall guestexperience.
  • Lead and oversee the design processfor new hotel developments and renovations, ensuring all projectsalign with the brand's luxury standards and strategicobjectives.
  • Collaborate with architects,interior designers, and contractors to ensure that thearchitectural elements of the properties reflect thebrand's values and deliver a seamless luxuryexperience.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends,design innovations, and market dynamics to continuously evolve thebrand's design strategy and maintain its competitiveedge.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams,including marketing, operations, and development, to integratedesign principles that enhance brand positioning and guestsatisfaction.
  • Implement rigorous qualitycontrol measures to ensure all design and architectural elementsmeet the highest standards of luxury andcraftsmanship.
  • Oversee budget allocation fordesign and architectural projects, ensuring financial efficiencywithout compromising on quality and brandstandards.
  • Create and enforce comprehensivebrand design guidelines to ensure uniformity and excellence acrossall properties and marketing materials.
  • Managerelationships with external vendors, designers, and architecturalfirms, negotiating contracts and ensuring deliverables meet brandexpectations.
  • Develop and monitor keyperformance indicators related to design projects, reporting onprogress, challenges, and outcomes to seniormanagement.

AboutYou

The ideal candidate forthis position will have the following experience andqualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree inArchitecture, or other relevant field
  • Minimum 8– 10 years' experience in design andarchitecture, with a significant portion of that time spent in theluxury hospitality sector.
  • Proven track recordof successful project management from concept tocompletion.
  • Deep understanding of the luxurymarket and experience in creating and maintaining high-end brandaesthetics and guest experiences in a hospitalitycontext.
  • Strong leadership skills withexperience managing design teams, collaborating withcross-functional teams, and leading large-scale projects. Provenability to inspire and guide creativeprofessionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to developand implement strategic design initiatives that align with businessgoals and enhance brand positioning.
  • Experienceworking with various stakeholders, including executives,architects, designers, contractors, and external partners, toensure cohesive and effective designoutcomes.
