About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Guest Relations Executive to join Shimmers - Jumeirah Mina Al Salam The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: Create a warm and memorable welcome for every guest, offering personalised attention and seamless introductions to service colleagues. Coordinate dining reservations and special occasions, ensuring a flawless experience through thoughtful planning and execution. Recommend signature dishes and beverage pairings with confidence, drawing on deep menu knowledge and understanding of guest preferences. Deliver attentive service to VIP and regular guests by anticipating their needs, recalling their preferences, and elevating each visit. Act as the key point of contact for guest enquiries, offering detailed knowledge of in-house dining themes and local highlights. Handle guest feedback and special requests gracefully and promptly, turning moments of dissatisfaction into lasting positive impressions. About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: One or two years of experience in the same role with a strong F&B background in a 5-star luxury property or a standalone/branded restaurant. Proficient in English and a second language (Russian or European languages are desirable). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Micros, and Sevenrooms.
