As a Consulting Analyst with aBehavioural Science specialism you will have a detailed knowledgeof and passion for behavioural science. You will have strongcredentials (academic and/or work experience) in cognitivepsychology social psychology and/or the behavioural sciencescombined with the proven ability to practically apply thisknowledge to find innovative ways of solvingproblems.

Our Behavioural Science specialism willhave strong exposure across all of Consultings key areas fromBusiness Transformation Brand Transformation to MarketingTransformation as well as all of the behavioural science ledprojects.

As asuccessful Consulting Analyst (Behavioural Science)you:

  • Will have a detailed and fluentknowledge of behavioural science and key concepts andtheories.
  • Will be capable of interpretingresearch from a range of quantitative and qualitative sources andtechniques (academic literature ethnographic and complex datasets).
  • Will be a confident and engagingpresenter capable of translating academic insights into a broaderbusiness context.
  • Will be capable ofestablishing sound client relationships and critically challengingif required.
  • Will be a champion of creativeideas and creative approaches toresearch.

Responsibilities:

Research & insightdevelopment:

  • Performingdesktop research developing academic literature reviews andanalysing industry and competitortrends
  • Conducting competitor analyses thatdrive unique insights
  • Designing conducting andanalyzing qualitative and quantitative research (e.g. interviewssurveys ethnographies focusgroups)

Project delivery:

  • Takingownership of client deliverables and presentations with a strongvisual clarity and strategic rigor
  • Developingand participating in client strategy and ideationworkshops
  • Support in the development ofbusiness strategies and solutions
  • Inputtinginto the creative development of ideas as well as creative andproduction briefs
  • Supporting with all aspectsof project management
  • Maintaining the OgilvyConsulting standard of excellence in intelligence andimagination

BusinessDevelopment:

  • Participatingin growth conversations with existing and prospectiveclients
  • Supporting with new business proposalsand pitches
  • Contributing to thought leadershipand events (e.g. The Annual andNudgestock)

Experience:

  • An undergraduatedegree is a minimum requirement and a Masters or beyond iscertainly beneficial. Subjects may include (but are not limited to)psychology biology humanities/social sciences and economics. Weremost concerned with how youve used and applied what youve studiedrather than the specific discipline itself.
  • 13years of experience in a consultancy client strategy position orequivalent strategic role in professionalservices.

Skills andAttributes:

  • A detailedknowledge of behaviour change principles heuristics and biases andfundamentals of psychology and behaviouraleconomics.
  • Qualitative and quantitativeresearch skills (including literature reviews survey developmentstatistical analysis etc..)
  • Able to drawcritical human and cultural insights from data andobservation
  • Strong business acumen and criticalthinking skills
  • Exemplary interpersonal andcommunication skills both written andverbal
  • Ability to take initiative and to workindependently and within a team
  • Excellentorganization and time management skills with the ability tomultitask especially in highpressuresituations
  • Strong work ethic with superiorattention to detail
  • Excellent working knowledgeof Microsoft Office particularly in Excel and PowerPoint Keynote aplus
