To lead and manage theIslamic private banking and KCG within the bank. This involvesdeveloping and implementing strategies to grow the business andensuring that the team delivers excellent service and advise toclients. He is also responsible for managing budgets developing andmaintaining partnership with other departments within the bank andcomplying with relevant laws regulations and policies. He shouldhave deep understanding of Islamic finance principles and practicesas well as strong leadership and managementskills.
KeyAccountabilities
- Developingand implementing strategies to grow the Islamic private bankingdivision KCG & Elite division including identifying newbusiness opportunities expanding the divisions market share andbuilding relationship with highnetworth individuals and keyclients.
- Overseeing the execution of financialtransactions that comply with Islamic principles including shariacompliant financing investment and risk managementtechniques.
- Managing the financial performanceof the divisions including setting targets monitoring progress andtaking corrective action as needed.
- Leading andmanaging a team of professionals including setting performancegoals providing mentorship and support and evaluating employeeperformance.
JobSpecificAccountabilities
- Buildingand maintaining relationships with key stakeholders includingclients regulators and other financialinstitutions
- Ensuring compliance with relevantlaws and regulations including those related to IslamicFinance.
- Providing personalized financialservices to private banking clients including advice on shariacompliant investment and financingoptions.
- Stay up to date with industry trendsand development and continually seek opportunities to improveprocesses and enhance the teams skills andknowledge.
Qualifications:
MinimumQualification
- Bachelorsdegree in accounting andfinance.
MinimumExperience
12 years relevantexperience in the banking sector with at least 5 years in similarpositions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilitiesin the Islamic Retail and privatebanking.
