We are looking for an amazing individual tojoin our dynamic team as Senior Back End Developer to drive thedevelopment of cuttingedge solutions and shape the future of ourproducts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding ofBackEnd architectures and technologies strong technical skills andGolang experience. You will join one of our feature squads (paymentonboarding trading) and collaborate closely with crossfunctionalteams including designers product managers developers and solutionsarchitects to deliver a seamless and engaging app experience. Thisrole reports to the Technical Lead of one of our feature squads andis based in Dubai.

  • Design develop andmaintain scalable and efficient backend services using Golangwithin an eventdriven architecture to support our consumer appincluding handson coding code reviews and troubleshooting to ensurethe timely delivery of highquality softwaresolutions
  • Participate in the architecturaldesign and review processes ensuring solutions are scalableresilient and costeffective.
  • Provide Mentorshipand codereviews to mid and junior level backend developersfostering a collaborative and innovative team environment bestpractices in code quality and agilemethodologies.
  • Implement and manage Kafkabasedsystems for realtime data processing anddistribution
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to integrate various components and datasystems.
  • Advocate for and implement bestpractices in software engineering including agile developmentautomated testing continuous integration and SRE (monitoringobservability logging).
  • Help to identifyperformance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance theresponsiveness and efficiency of theplatform.
  • Stay up to date with the latestindustry trends technologies and best practices in backenddevelopment and architecturedesigns.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issuesproviding timely resolutions.
  • Participate inthe entire app lifecycle from concept and design to testing andrelease.
  • Create and maintain comprehensivetechnical documentation including specifications and developmentguidelines.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelorsdegree in computer science Engineering or related field; Mastersdegree preferred.
  • Proven experience 3 yearsminimum) working as a Senior Golang Back End Developer or similarrole preferably in the development of mission critical systems orfinancial applications.
  • Strong handsonexpertise in backend development with technologies such as Golangand Kafka
  • Strong architectural and systemdesign skills in technologies such as microservices distributedsystems cloud computing event driven systems and REST APIdesign.
  • Experience with Cloud technologiesorchestration (K8s Docker) CI/CD automated testing and other DevOpstools and methodologies
  • Experience working withdatastores of any kind (RDBMS NoSQL KeyValue Queue Management
  • Strong proficiency in writing cleanmaintainable and efficient code.
  • Ability tolook at the bigger picture and create a scalable backendarchitecture.
  • Solid understanding of softwaredevelopment lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile Scrum orKanban.
  • Excellent communication skills with theability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts tonontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong analyticaland problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail and acommitment to delivering highqualitysolutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaceddynamic environment and manage multiple prioritieseffectively.

Desirable:

  • Experienceworking on a B2C application is a strongplus
  • Familiarity with trading or financialapplications and their specificrequirements
