ARadiographer (also known as aRadiologic Technologist ) is ahealthcare professional who specializes in performing diagnosticimaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and otherimaging techniques. Radiographers work alongside physicians,radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to help diagnoseand treat medical conditions by capturing clear, detailed images ofthe inside of the body.

We are seeking aqualified and licensed Radiographer to join our team. The idealcandidate should hold a valid DOH license and possess hands-onexperience in operating C-Arm X-ray machines along with otherradiology equipment. This role involves working closely with ourmedical team to provide high-quality imaging services to supportpatient diagnostics andtreatment.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Operate C-Arm X-ray machines andother radiology equipment effectively andsafely.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic imagesaccording to established protocols.
  • Maintainequipment and follow safety guidelines to ensure patient and staffsafety.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcareprofessionals during imaging procedures.
  • Managepatient records, imaging results, and ensure accuratedocumentation.
  • Adhere to DOH regulations,protocols, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Valid DOH Radiographerlicense.
  • Proven experience with C-Arm X-raymachines and other radiology equipment.
  • Strongunderstanding of radiology imaging techniques and safetystandards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Stronginterpersonal skills and patient-centered approach.

PreferredSkills

  • Experience in operating variousradiology equipment, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and portableX-rays.
  • Familiarity with electronic medicalrecords (EMR) systems.
  • Strong teamwork andcommunication skills.

    • Ensuringpatient and staff safety by following strict protocols to minimizeradiation exposure.
    • Being familiar with safetymeasures, including the use of protective shields, properpositioning, and safe handling of radiationequipment.

  • CommunicationSkills

    • Explainingimaging procedures to patients, addressing their concerns, andmaking them feel comfortable.
    • Collaboratingwith radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionalsto interpret images and develop treatmentplans.

  • PatientCare

    • Ensuring patientcomfort and safety during imagingprocedures.
    • Positioning patients correctly andcarefully, especially those with mobility issues or seriousconditions.

  • Problem-Solving

    • Addressingtechnical issues with imaging equipment and troubleshootingproblems that may arise duringprocedures.
    • Making decisions on the appropriateimaging techniques for specific diagnosticpurposes.

  • RecordKeeping andDocumentation

    • Keepingdetailed records of patient information, imaging procedures, andresults.
    • Maintaining accurate and confidentialmedical records in line with healthcareregulations.
