We are seeking a visionary and experiencedTechnical Design Director Structures to join our team in Abu DhabiUnited Arab Emirates. In this pivotal leadership role you willoversee the structural design aspects of our cuttingedge projectsensuring technical excellence and innovation throughout the designprocess.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadand mentor a team of structural engineers fostering a culture ofinnovation and technical excellence
  • Develop andimplement structural design strategies for complex largescaleconstruction projects
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to integrate structural designs witharchitectural and MEP systems
  • Ensure compliancewith local and international building codes and regulations with afocus on UAE standards
  • Review and approvestructural calculations drawings andspecifications
  • Implement and optimize the useof advanced structural engineering software and BuildingInformation Modeling (BIM) technologies
  • Conductquality assurance reviews to maintain the highest standards ofstructural integrity and safety
  • Participate inclient meetings and presentations to communicate design conceptsand solutions
  • Stay abreast of industry trendsemerging technologies and sustainable designpractices
  • Manage project budgets timelines andresources for structural designcomponents

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Structural Engineering or a relatedfield
  • Professional Engineering (PE)license
  • 20 years of experience in structuralengineering with at least 5 years in a leadershiprole
  • Proven track record in managing largescalecomplex construction projects
  • Proficiency inBuilding Information Modeling (BIM) and project managementtools
  • Indepth understanding of variousstructural systems materials and sustainable designprinciples
  • Comprehensive knowledge ofinternational building codes and regulations with specificexpertise in UAE standards
  • Strong analyticaland problemsolving skills with meticulous attention todetail
  • Excellent communication and presentationabilities with the capacity to convey complex technical concepts todiverse audiences
  • Demonstrated leadershipskills including the ability to mentor and develop teammembers
  • Experience in collaborating withmultidisciplinary teams and managing clientrelationships
  • Adaptability to work in afastpaced environment and handle multiple projectssimultaneously
