We areseeking a detailoriented and highly skilled Data Analyst to joinour team. The Data Analyst will oversee our data systems ensuringdata integrity accuracy and reliability. This role requirestransforming raw data into structured information which will beanalysed to uncover insights that drive strategic businessdecisions. The ideal candidate will manage the full analysislifecycle from requirement gathering to report development whilecontinuously optimizing reporting functions and supervisingperformance and quality assurance processes to pinpoint areas forimprovement.

Requirements

RolesandResponsibilities:

  1. DataQuality andIntegrity:
  • Ensurethe accuracy consistency and reliability of data throughout itslifecycle.
  • Performdata cleansing and review computergenerated reports to identify andresolveerrors.
DataCollection:
  • Gatherdata from multiple sources such as databases APIs and thirdpartysources.
  • Maintainand update databases and data systems to ensure they are accurateand up todate.
ReportingProcesses Development andSupport:
  • Createand maintain processes to generate timely and accurate reports thatprovide actionable insights forstakeholders.
  • Identifyopportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency andreportingaccuracy.
  • Workwith departmental managers to gather specific data requirements foranalysis projects tailored to their businessprocesses.
AutomatedDataExtraction:
  • Developscripts and tools to automate data extraction from websites anddigital sources improving data access andefficiency.
DataInterpretation:
  • Analysecomplex datasets to detect trends patterns andcorrelations.
  • Usestatistical techniques to analyse data and provide actionableinsights to inform businessstrategies.
  • Designdata dashboards charts and other visual aids to supportdecisionmaking across theorganization.
ComplexAnalysis:
  • Conductadvanced data analyses using statistical methods to uncover deeperinsights andcorrelations.
DatabaseMaintenance:
  • Manageand update databases ensuring they remain secure accessible andfunctionproperly.
  • Supportdata storage and retrieval processes to ensure seamlessoperations.
Collaboration:
  • Coordinatewith management to align business priorities with dataneeds.
  • Collaboratewith teams across departments to identify and prioritize dataanalysisrequirements.

SkillsandQualifications:

  • Minimumof 5 years of experience managing large financial datasets forcompanies.
  • Strongfoundation in statistics and handson experience with statisticalsoftware (Excel PowerBI ZohoAnalytics).
  • Proficiencyin data analysis languages such as SQL Python andR.
  • Excellentanalytical skills with the ability to compile structure and analyzelarge data sets with attention todetail.
  • BasicWeb Programming language like PHP is optional but would beadvantageous.
  • Strongcritical thinking skills to extract actionable insights fromdata.
  • Excellentcommunication and presentation skills with the ability to conveycomplex data insights to nontechnicalaudiences.
  • ABachelors degree in Computer Science Information ManagementStatistics or a related field is required. Prior experience in dataanalysis or a similar role is aplus.

  • Strongreportwriting and presentationskills.
  • Abilityto work under pressure and meet tightdeadlines.
  • Asolid understanding of business operations and industryspecificknowledge is highlydesirable.
