About the Role The Senior Transport Engineer will lead and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of transport infrastructure projects. This role demands a strong foundation in traffic engineering, transport planning, and multi-modal design, with the ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior staff. Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Transport Engineer to lead the design and planning of transport infrastructure projects. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative, sustainable, and compliant transport solutions across roads, highways, and urban mobility systems. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and technical delivery of transport infrastructure projects including roads, intersections, and traffic systems. Conduct traffic impact assessments, transport modelling, and feasibility studies. Use software tools such as SIDRA, AIMSUN, and VISSIM for network analysis and simulation. Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and international standards. Collaborate with clients, authorities, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and delivery excellence. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development. Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and presentations for stakeholders. Support tender preparation and contribute to business development initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transport Engineering (Master’s preferred). Minimum 8–10 years of experience in transport engineering, preferably in the UAE or GCC region. Proficiency in traffic modelling tools (SIDRA, AIMSUN, VISSIM). Strong understanding of UAE transport authority requirements. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
