Civil Engineer in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE Responsibilities and Duties Planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. Preparing engineering drawings and plans for projects. Estimating project costs. Supervising construction progress to ensure compliance with plans. Ensuring projects meet legal, regulatory, and environmental standards. Inspecting sites to verify correct implementation of designs. Monitoring quality control throughout projects. Acting as liaison with clients and government agencies for permits and approvals. Resolving engineering issues during construction. Developing maintenance strategies for existing structures. Qualifications and Experience Degree in civil engineering or related field. Minimum 3 years of civil engineering experience. Proficiency in CAD software and structural analysis programs like STAAD Pro or AutoCAD. Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
