Howwill you make an impact

As aFinance Manager in Dubai at WebBeds you will play a crucial role inensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records. You willbe responsible for managing financial transactions preparingfinancial statements and supporting overall financial operations.Your attention to detail and understanding of Internationalaccounting standards will be essential in maintaining precise andtransparent financialrecords.

Keyelements to the role include:

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records ensuringcompliance to international accounting principles and collaboratingwith crossfunctional teams to gather necessaryinformation.
  • Prepare monthlyquarterly and annual financial statements providing timely andreliable financial information to support decisionmaking. Effectivecommunication with various stakeholders is essential.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulationsincluding preparation and submission of tax returns and supportingdocumentation. Take accountability for accurate and timely taxfilings.
  • Review of MIS of Group companies andproviding feedback and direct reporting to Financial Controller.
  • VAT compliance reporting and reconciliations.Filing VAT returns and coordinating with Tax Manager on a regularbasis.
  • Closely work with Tax Manager to learn& implement UAE Corporate IncomeTax.
  • Intercompany balance reconciliations andreporting.
  • Collaborate with management todevelop budgets and forecasts communicating financial insights andsupporting continuous development initiatives to enhance financialplanning processes.
  • Assist in the coordinationof internal and external audits independently providing necessarydocumentation and explanations to auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation& optimization and contribute to the development andimplementation of improved financial processes fostering a cultureof innovation & continuous development.
  • Conduct indepth financial analysis includingvariance analysis trend analysis and cost analysis to provideinsights into financial performance and support strategicdecisionmaking.
  • Manage and forecast cash flowsensuring optimal liquidity for daily operations and identifyingareas for improvement in cash management processes.
  • Work closely with other departments providingfinancial insights and supporting overall business objectives.Manage midsize team and provide guidance & support on a regularbasis. Collaborate and empower team members to achieve commongoals.
  • Uphold a strong ethical work ethicensuring financial practices align with the highest standards ofprofessionalism and integrity.

Theskills we would love to see in yoursuitcase

  • Bachelors orMasters degree in Accountancy Finance or an equivalent field.
  • Pursuing qualifications such as CharteredAccountant CPA or ACCA.
  • Preferred minimum of23 years relevant accounting experience (candidates with 2 to 3years experience in a Big 4 Audit Firm are at an advantage).
  • Indepth understanding of InternationalFinancial Reporting Standards and proficiency in applying them tofinancial operations. Commitment to ongoing learning andcompliance.
  • Effective and strong interpersonaland communication skills to collaborate with internal teamsexternal partners and auditors.
  • Acollaborative team player with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude positive work ethic and astrong sense of accountability.
  • Exceptionalorganizational skills and ability to work autonomously within tightdeadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to supportvarious regional locations.
  • Proficient inMicrosoft Office applications (Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English communication skills bothwritten and oral.
  • Familiarity with SAP is aplus.
