RoleSummary

The Supply ChainCoordinator will oversee the endtoend supply chain operationsensuring efficient management of inventory finished goods andlogistics. This role involves coordinating with the production andlogistics teams to ensure smooth operations maintaining optimalstock levels and ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet customerorders. The coordinator will also be responsible for productionplanning ensuring that production schedules align with supply anddemand to avoid shortages or overstocking.

KeyResponsibilities

InventoryManagement

  • Monitorand manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of rawmaterials and finished goods.
  • Conduct regularinventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with companypolicies.
  • Develop and implement strategies tominimize stock discrepancies and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for timelyreplenishment of raw materials.

Finished GoodsManagement

  • Track andmanage finished goods inventory to effectively meet customerdemands.
  • Collaborate with the production teamto forecast finished goods requirements.
  • Ensure proper labelling storage and handling of finishedgoods to maintain quality standards.
  • Act asthe primary contact point for the sales team to ensure timely andaccurate order fulfilment.

LogisticsCoordination

  • Overseelogistics operations to ensure timely and costeffective delivery ofgoods to customers.
  • Liaise with drivers andcustomers to facilitate smooth transportation anddistribution.
  • Monitor shipping schedulesaddress delays and manage customer inquiries regardingdeliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records ofshipments invoices and other transportationdocumentation.

TeamManagement

  • Lead andmanage the production and logistics teams providing guidance andsupport to drive operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement training programs to build teamcapabilities.
  • Conduct regular performanceevaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster collaboration between production and logisticsteams to achieve organizational goals.

Production Planning

  • Develop and maintain production schedulesbased on customer orders and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure thatmanufacturing processes align with demand forecasts.
  • Adjust production plans as necessary to meet changes incustomer demand or supply chain disruptions.
  • Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to ensurethat production capacities align with materialavailability.

ProcessImprovement

  • Analyzecurrent supply chain processes and identify areas forimprovement.
  • Develop and implement costsavinginitiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor industry trends and adopt best practices toenhance supply chain performance.

Qualifications andSkills

  • Bachelorsdegree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administrationor a related field.
  • Proven experience insupply chain coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management logisticsproduction processes and production planning.
  • Excellent leadership and team managementskills.
