Project Manager

What You Will Do

The Project Manager HVAC, ESCO & IREF Systems is a key role directly reporting to Director Install Operations or operation Manager. You will be based in Dubai and will be a part of a growing team and be responsible for driving the growth of business for HVAC, ESCO & Industrial Refrigeration Systems.

You will be managing the project management team on designing and execution of projects. You will need to monitor the assigned engineering projects, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and will interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.

How You Will Do It

As an experienced Project Manager, you should have expertise in project executions and complex knowledge of designing of HVAC solutions involving Chillers, AHU, FCUs, Industrial Refrigeration, Energy solutions in the Middle East region. You have to;

1. Initiate and respond to contractual issues throughout contract & Project phase.
2. Monitor project progress and prepare project progress reports and represent company in client project, quality and HSE meetings.
3. Responsible for formal (letter)/ informal (verbal) communication with client and for invoicing processing and collection of payments from clients.
4. Prepare technical submittals and submit to clients and Responsible for production and issuance of design drawings/ calculation.
5. Prepare and comply with project quality plan and Inspection & test plans and ensure full compliance of project with specification and client requirement.
6. Assume full responsibility for cost management of the projects, Prepare and submit monthly cost reports to senior management for review.
7. Initiate change process to manage variations to contract and Follow project to completion and ensure final payment.
8. Ensure key milestone dates are met if delays occur, then to develop plan to bring the project back on the track.
9. Manage all allocated staff and resources to complete the project in time and responsible for requests for resources within budgeted allowance.
10. Develop and train allocated staff.
11. To be conversant with company and client QHSE policies/ procedures and ensure that operatives understand and implement them in their responsible areas.
12. Liaise with QA/QC and HSE managers on all aspects of Quality and HSE.
13. Prepare and submit project completion feedback report to sales dept.
14. Monitor progress of sub-contracted works, wherever applicable and ensure all applicable QHSE documents are available at point of use, in particular project specific QHSE documents are available at site.
15. Ensure complete project data/ records are archived after completion of project and are forwarded to IS dept. for effective archiving.
16. To ensure non-conformities in materials/ products are dealt in accordance with applicable management system procedure and appropriate corrective and preventive actions taken to prevent recurrence/ occurrence of non-conformities.
17. To ensure needed inspections and test of products are performed, inspection & test records maintained, prior to products handover to customers.
    
    

1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Similar Discipline from a reputable university.
2. Minimum of 7-10 years project engineering experience in execution of HVAC / ESCO / Industrial Refrigeration systems.
3. Recent experience of working at a leadership level in the GCC region.
4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
5. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
6. Good interpersonal, negotiation, labour management and influencing skills.
7. Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions.
8. Proven ability to produce high quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use.
9. Fluency in the English language is essential and excellent mail etiquettes.
10. Decision Making Skills.
