Clinical Support Position at Whiskers And Wags Veterinary Clinic

Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Veterinary Nurse to join our team, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care and services to pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with veterinarians to perform medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostics, ensuring the highest standards of care and precision.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and provide post-operative care, prioritising comfort and safety.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary team, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Client Services:
  • Educate pet owners on preventative care, treatment plans, and post-procedure instructions, promoting informed decision-making and strong client-pet relationships.
  • Develop and maintain trust with clients, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
Operational Functions:
  • Accurately maintain patient records, medical histories, and treatment details, facilitating seamless communication among team members.
  • Ensure that equipment and treatment areas are clean, sterilised, and prepared for use, adhering to stringent cleaning and safety protocols.
  • Support inventory management for medical supplies, optimising resource allocation and reducing waste.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in a veterinary nursing role, preferably within the UAE, demonstrating expertise and commitment to animal care.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and technical skills, including handling and restraining animals, with a focus on precision and care.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration and mutual understanding among team members and clients.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing time efficiently.
