We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Receiving Specialist to join our team at Hyatt. In this role, you will play a key part in the smooth operation of the Materials Department, ensuring timely receipt and processing of materials, and coordinating with other departments to achieve objectives.
About the Role
The Purchasing and Receiving Specialist will work closely with the Assistant Manager Materials to develop and implement effective purchasing strategies, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet departmental objectives.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need strong organizational and communication skills, basic knowledge in Purchasing/Receiving/Store management, and experience in inventory management.
