Pipe Support Detailer Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Pipe Support Detailer to join our team at EPIC Piping. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed fabrication drawings for pipe supports using AutoCAD. You will work closely with our piping detailers and engineers to ensure that your drawings meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed fabrication drawings for pipe supports using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with piping detailers and engineers to ensure that drawings meet project specifications and design requirements.
- Generate accurate 2D and 3D drawings, including dimensions, materials, and welding requirements, for pipe supports.
- Assist in the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and material take-offs for pipe support components.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from design and fabrication teams to ensure clarity and adherence to project standards.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry codes and standards and client-specific specifications.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Diploma/ITI or associate degree in drafting or engineering.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a pipe support detailer, specifically in piping or structural support detailing within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
