Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years of coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies.
  • Language Proficiency: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript.
  • Automation Testing: Experience in automation testing techniques and tools, such as Playwright, Cucumber, Appium, and Selenium.
  • API Development: Excellent knowledge in development and testing of scalable and highly available RESTful APIs/Microservices using JavaScript technologies.
  • Test Automation: Able to create end-to-end automation test suites using Playwright/Selenium, preferably using BDD approach.
  • GraphQL: Practical experience with GraphQL.
  • CI/CD: Well-versed in CI/CD principles and actively involved in solving troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystems.
  • Containerization: Understanding of containerization, experienced in Docker/Kubernetes.
  • API Gateway: Exposed to API gateway integrations, such as 3Scale.
  • Authentication: Understanding of Single Sign-on or token-based authentication (REST JWT/OAuth).
  • Task/Message Queues: Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues, including but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.
  • Coding Standards: Experience in following best coding, testing, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience in Agile methodology.
  • Communication: Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing deep knowledge and experience.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivator and self-starter, able to own and drive projects without supervision and work collaboratively with teams across the organization.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact and present ideas to senior and executive management.
  • Education: Degree: Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
