Job Summary

This strategic role involves analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to optimize product assortment and drive revenue growth. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute plans that align with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges affecting product categories.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that improve product assortment and drive revenue growth.
  • Project Management: Lead initiatives to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions across multiple channels.
  • Internal Alignment: Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
  • Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare detailed reports summarizing product assortment performance, sales trends, and key insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role and/or previous experience managing product assortment within a retailer or a brand.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with brands and vendors and negotiate trade investment.
  • Understanding of sales elasticity and financial impact of prices & promotions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
