Digby Morris Executive Search & Talent Acquisition is seeking an experienced Post Contract Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to join a dynamic team working on high-profile residential and mixed-use developments for leading local developers in Abu Dhabi.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to prestigious developments, delivering excellence in commercial management and adding value to leading real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Commercial Management: Oversee post-contract commercial management, ensuring project budgets are adhered to and controlled effectively.
- Contract Administration: Manage contract administration, including cost reporting, interim valuations, and final accounts.
- Variation and Claims: Evaluate and negotiate variations, claims, and contractual disputes.
- Cost Analysis: Prepare cost analysis, cash flow projections, and financial reporting for stakeholders.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, developers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Strategic Advice: Provide strategic advice to developers on cost and value optimization.
- A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc QS) or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with a strong focus on residential and mixed-use projects.
- A proven track record in post-contract quantity surveying, preferably within consultancy environments.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other relevant contracts.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Previous consultancy experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- UAE/GCC project experience is highly desirable.
