Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Ghobash Group.

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in oil & gas, power, and utility sectors. As a Senior QAQC Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all QA/QC functions/activities performed during engineering, procurement, construction, installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and up to final acceptance by the end user.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan.
  • Conducting audits in accordance with approved audit schedules and ensuring compliance with quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Reviewing and approving product/material requisitions, inspecting reports, and release notes.
  • Managing and supervising a team of QA/QC Engineers and QC inspectors for day-to-day QA/QC functions in the project.
  • Providing quality input to technical bid evaluations and reviewing vendor and supplier documents, including ITPs, NDE procedures, and reports.
  • Scheduling and coordinating 3rd party inspections, reviewing inspection reports, and releasing products/materials.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing contract quality programs in accordance with Contract and/or Projects Execution Plan arrangements.
  • Developing and executing contract quality programs in accordance with Contract and/or Projects Execution Plan arrangements.
  • Ensuring the closure of Quality requirements for project close out and regular quality reporting as required.
  • Supporting implementation of quality continuous improvement initiatives and quality input to project lessons learned and risk management sessions.
