Key Responsibilities

  • Competitive Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct detailed benchmarking of top players' experiences, identify design trends, and assess how competitors approach user interfaces and user journeys.
  • User Research & Insights: Lead user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand pain points, preferences, and behaviors.
  • User Flow & Journey Mapping: Design comprehensive user flows for mobile apps, websites, and USSD channels, ensuring that all user scenarios are accounted for.
  • Data Flow & Information Architecture: Prepare and document data flows to define how data interacts within the system.
  • High-Fidelity Prototyping & UI Design: Create high-fidelity prototypes and UI designs using Figma, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and optimizing for usability.
  • Collaboration & Iteration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine designs based on feedback and technical constraints.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design or product design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, and Jira.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience with UX research methodologies.
  • Experience designing for mobile apps, web platforms, and USSD interfaces.
  • Ability to create clear, detailed user flows and data flows.
  • Solid knowledge of information architecture and best practices for organizing digital content and interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for visual design, typography, and consistency in UI elements.
