Aircraft Technician Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team at Nathan & Nathan. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft, including inspections, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts.
  • Utilize computer systems (SAP, MS Office, etc.) to input and retrieve information.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other technicians and support staff to achieve common goals.
  • Comply with EH&S policies and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate PPE and attending EH&S training as required.
  • Report unsafe practices and/or conditions to the appropriate individuals to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.
  • Recommend improvements to EH&S practices in order to create a safer workplace.
  • Interpret schematics and/or technical drawings to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance and repair.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving high-quality results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
