Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Planning and Prioritization: Update procurement planning and help prioritize purchasing workload to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Proactively build and maintain relationships with partners and suppliers to establish and maintain a highly effective service.
  • Purchase Order Management: Inform requesters during the preparation phase, purchase, and commitment follow-up as per supply chain fundamentals.
  • Cost Optimization and Reduction: Ensure cost optimization and reduction through effective procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, applicable laws, and regulations, particularly related to ethics and transparency.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Diploma: BAC+3 or recognized/certified experience equivalence.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as a Buyer.
  • Skills: Intermediate purchasing technical competencies, C&P tools certification, and SAP tool certification.
  • Language: English (required) and Arabic/French (beneficial).
