We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Velosi Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of electrical systems and equipment, and will work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • IVB Guidelines and HSECES Review: Familiarity with IVB Guidelines as per HSE-OS-ST29 / GP&E-GAIPS/STD-07 and similar standards, and review of HSECES at category level considering its role in major accident prevention, detection, control, mitigation, emergency response, and lifesaving.
  • Quality Control and Verification: Field inspections, technical integrity verification, third-party inspection, contractor and subcontractor inspections, and review of performance standards.
  • Written Scheme of Examination (WSE) Development: Development of WSEs for electrical equipment and verification of activities as per approved WSEs.
  • Technical Integrity Verification and Reporting: Conduct technical integrity verification and generate reports.
  • Electrical International Standards and ADNOC Group Standards: Knowledge of electrical international standards and ADNOC group standards like AGES/DGS.
  • Hazardous Area Classification Drawings and Schedules Review: Review of hazardous area classification drawings and schedules.
  • Electrical Deliverables Review: Review of electrical deliverables including layouts, single-line diagrams, protection system schematics, and relevant studies during detail engineering/FEED stage in alignment with company standards.
  • Design Calculations and Basis Verification: Verification of design calculations and basis of transformer, indoor/outdoor lighting system, earthing & lightning, switchgear, cable sizing, load flow, short circuit, and related studies per company standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in IVB guidelines, HSECES review, quality control, and technical integrity verification. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
