About the Job
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as a Head Nurse. This is a senior-level position in the nursing department, responsible for overseeing and managing nursing activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring a well-functioning team.
- Conduct assessments and visits to patients' homes to evaluate health conditions and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Manage nurse staffing needs, create work schedules, and oversee staffing levels.
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop training plans to improve nursing staff skills and knowledge.
- Ensure nursing practices meet highest standards of care, safety, and infection control.
- Develop and implement emergency protocols to address unexpected medical situations.
- Enforce nursing policies, protocols, and procedures in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among nursing staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Valid nursing license in UAE by Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, including progressive leadership roles.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility to handle emergencies and unexpected situations.
