Position OverviewAn IVHMMS Technician is responsible for the collection, analysis, documentation, and dissemination of all IVHMMS data related to assigned aircraft. This role involves operating the IVHMMS ground station and associated software, while assisting with troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, maintenance, testing, inspection, and modifications to ensure the functionality of all components and computer hardware within the IVHMMS section.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the download, collection, and transfer of IVHMMS data at intervals specified by the aircraft OEM procedures.
2. Conduct a thorough review of IVHMMS data during each download, checking for exceedances and alert parameters.
3. Perform in-depth analyses of IVHMMS data, including additional Conditional Indicators and expanded trend timeframe reviews, as well as comparisons across different fleet types.
4. Assess, assign, track, and communicate all items requiring close monitoring, collaborating with technical representatives, OEM analysts, and engineering staff to resolve open issues.
5. Initiate maintenance actions on aircraft based on indications derived from analyzed IVHMMS data.
6. Monitor and adjust Rotor Track and Balance in accordance with OEM limits, identifying discrepancies that may indicate potential defects.
7. Operate and maintain equipment and specialized tooling associated with IVHMMS and GSS Software.
8. Communicate effectively with customers regarding maintenance and flight operations to provide efficient solutions for returning aircraft to service.
9. Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting by utilizing real-time and historical data gathered by the IVHMMS.
10. Maintain professional working relationships with all related departments and supervisors.
11. May be required to perform power-on operations of IVHMMS to facilitate the completion of maintenance activities.
12. Ensure daily operational activities comply with security regulatory, statutory, and policy directives.
13. Assist in preparing documentation for classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, and training of maintenance personnel.
14. Collaborate with SAE and Logistics to categorize components of the IVHMMS system that exhibit a high failure rate.
15. Demonstrate adaptability in using and maintaining IVHMMS across various aircraft platforms.
16. Perform necessary technical office administration tasks, including publication revisions, incident reporting, and related corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Nationality: No Restriction
- Education: High School Graduate. FAA A&P and/or FCC certified or equivalent. Military training school and/or OEM certification preferred but not mandatory in exchange for relevant experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years with hands-on operational experience as an IVHMMS Technician or Field Support Engineer.
- Must possess current and valid documentation demonstrating recent work experience on the platform and IVHMMS Ground Station.
- Must have working experience on applicable aircraft.
