Position Overview:
This role involves teaching in the specialization of Cyber Security at The American University in the Emirates (AUE).

Instruction Language: English
Teaching Load: 24 credit hours per academic year

Job Purpose:
The faculty member will be responsible for delivering professional knowledge to students, evaluating academic work, providing academic guidance, and engaging in administrative duties and community service.

Qualifications & Education:

  • Ph.D. in Cyber Security or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 18 credit hours of graduate coursework in the relevant field.
  • At least three (3) publications in Scopus-indexed journals or five (5) publications in peer-reviewed journals within the last five years.
  • Equivalency certification from the Ministry of Education in the UAE.
  • WES equivalency for degrees not awarded by institutions in the United States.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of teaching or professional experience at an internationally accredited university.
  • At least three (3) publications in the last five years.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
