As a key member of Dubai Holding's real estate team, you will play a critical role in managing the financial performance of our development projects. Your expertise in cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting will ensure that our projects stay on track and meet their target cost objectives.
**Responsibilities:**
- Support Development Directors across projects to prepare annual budgets and ensure alignment with project financial objectives.
- Manage cost control procedures and systems to monitor project budgets and expenditure, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate financial risks.
- Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle, examine financial data to ensure projects remain within budgetary limits, and establish cost baselines.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to optimize design solutions for cost-effectiveness and implement value engineering and commercial risk management strategies.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in civil engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in a similar field in the UAE. Experience working on large master plan communities in Dubai/UAE is highly preferred. You should possess excellent analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting/software tools, and strong leadership, mentoring, and negotiation skills.
