Job Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment in our facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and optimize performance.
  2. Fault Identification and Repair: Identify and repair faults on equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  3. Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, track usage, and ensure timely ordering of critical spares.
  4. Training and Development: Provide training to new hires and operators on safe and proper use of equipment, tools, and processes.
  5. Facility Specific Tasks:
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly PM Checklists: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly PM checklists of machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Open Unplanned Work Orders: Open unplanned work orders in the ERP system for machine breakdowns or faults.
  • Control Spare Parts Usage: Ensure controlled use of spare parts and identify critical spares with high lead times.
  • Schedule Maintenance Activities: Assist in scheduling maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.

Requirements:

  1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with knowledge of basic math and technical concepts.
  2. Technical Skills:
  • Electrical Systems: Knowledge of electrical system parts, functions, and electrician hand tools.
  • Drawings and Procedures: Ability to understand drawings and procedures.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Experience in mechanical installations, mechanical aptitude, and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems, and schematics.
