Event Planning Role
We are seeking an experienced Groups & Events Executive to join our team at Anantara Hotels & Resorts. This role involves planning and coordinating groups and private events, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate groups and events, including managing bookings and client interactions.
- Manage daily schedules, adhering to agreements and communicating effectively with clients and departments.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing the guest experience.
- Manage the booking process, from proposal to invoicing.
- Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback and secure repeat business.
- Presentation of function sheets in the operations meeting.
- Develop relationships with clients for repeat business and track trends to support repeat bookings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Events, or Tourism.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a luxury hotel environment.
- Previous professional event organization experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in French and English, with additional languages a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Strong results-driven mindset and negotiation techniques.
- Positive attitude, dynamic personality, good communication and interpersonal skills, and creative thinking.
