Job Details

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a financial data management specialist, you will be responsible for managing and reporting financial data of the Company.

  • Manage post-purchase invoices, employee expense claims, and liaise with ancillary departments to ensure relevant approvals are obtained per the workflow.
  • Update banks and prepare bank reconciliation statements.
  • Post sales invoices and control settlements with customers.
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions by ensuring the accounting treatment of an entity's transactions.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status as per business requirements.
  • Prepare periodic reconciliations of intercompany balances and vendor/customer balances.
  • Assist with closing of periodic accounts and associated analysis and summary documents; ensure reliability of monthly accounts in accordance with IFRS and annual accounts in accordance with local standards.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and financial procedures and internal control rules defined by the Group.
  • Liaise with other transverse financial functions.
  • Support annual audit of books of account.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 1 or 2 years of work experience in accounting.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
  • Sector experience in construction engineering or global multinational preferred.
